Designed and produced in the mid-40s, this two-tiered George Nelson for Herman Miller model #4658 Desk is one for the ages. It features walnut construction supported by a steel base and aluminum risers for the top organizer. It is missing the original metal file basket as well as the original manufacturer label, and the top and sliding doors appear to have been redone in a walnut grain Formica.
