This stunning rosewood wall unit, attributed to and designed by Juul Christiansen as part of the "Pega" wall system for Arthur Soltvedt Møbelfabrik of Norway, features five full rosewood veneer wall panels spanning 13 feet. The line was designed in 1952 and exported throughout the 1950s and 1960s. In addition to the five wall panels, this one-owner/original owner wall unit includes a variety of cabinets, a mix of shelves, including a magazine shelf, a lighted shelf, a desk with pencil drawer and a key for the locking cabinet. This unit can be used as shown in images at the full 5-panel length, or in any configuration or combination from a single panel on up. One panel has a covered opening cut for electrical outlets and access up near the top, and one panel has two covered openings for electrical outlets near the bottom. Of note: the original owner powered the lighted shelf with an extension cord, so lighting in the photos is simulated for aesthetics; however, the original lighting is operational. Please see all images for complete condition information.
Measurements: Individual full panels: 88" H x 31 1/2" W. The face of each divider/support piece (when installed in place with panels) measures 1/2"W x 88 1/2" H, and the overall installed width with 5 panels installed is 162".
